Living the Grace Life: Be Confident in Christ

You are now ready to experience the assuredness that comes from embracing your new identity in Christ. As his faithful ambassadors with the ministry of reconciliation to the world, the functional application of God's instructions for daily life as revealed through our apostle Paul is an all-important practice. While we eagerly await our blessed hope (the catching away of the church, ie. rapture) we learn to live a life overflowing with charity through the unshakable peace found only in Christ.

Walking in Your New Identity

Some believers understand their salvation and who they are in Christ yet struggle with translating this truth into their everyday walk. The practicality of Paul's epistles transforms intellectual understanding into vibrant daily living. Learn how to navigate life's challenges with the authority, gratitude, and peace that is yours in Christ.

Renew Your Mind

The key to understanding all scripture is to consider what Paul says to us, the new man; the church; the body of Christ. Meditating on Paul's letters in our day-to-day lives continually renews our minds with Christ's words to us for today. This helps us clearly differentiate between our secure standing with God regarding salvation and the ongoing state of our lives while we remain on the earth.
It's about living consistently with who God says you are.

Embrace a Life of Peace and Purpose

Through focused study of God's word by employing the command of 2 Timothy 2:15, you'll discover how to become an effective ambassador for Christ through living a life marked by charity, peace, and purpose, even amidst a chaotic world. Exercising our ambassadorship is not about striving for God's approval, but about living from the approval we already have in Christ.
While we actively look for our blessed hope of being caught up in the air to forever be with our Lord, learning to practically apply these important truths empowers us to live the grace life God intends for us, as his ambassadors who have been given the ministry of reconciliation.

Our Primary Goal as Ambassadors

First and foremost, our job as ambassadors for Christ is to preach the word of reconciliation to the lost world. In order to achieve this mission, our primary focus should be to study all of the information that God has made available to us regarding what reconciliation is and how God used Christ as the conciliatory means to rejoin mankind to him.

Understanding the Bible: The Foundation of the Grace Life

Our Apostle Paul said, "Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things." (2 Timothy 2:7) Since the inception of this ministry, we at Truth Time Radio have striven to examine all things in life by first considering what Paul says. In doing so, we have found that the seemingly complex things of this earth become simple and can therefore be dealt with in a simplistic manner. This method allows us to allot the maximum amount of our most valuable commodity (time) toward all areas of outreach (ministry.)

In addition to information withing our Resource Library and scriptural references in our Statement of Faith, below are some targeted teachings for various aspects of the walk of a believer.

Common Questions Regarding Fellowship

Fellowship with likeminded believers can be a wonderful experience of growth, comfort, joy, companionship, and unity. However, when you choose to come together with other saints, there are no guarantees. Instead of making recommendations regarding certain situations involving anyone's personal life, family, or relationships - we at TTR preach individual discernment guided by the contextual study of scripture.
Below are some of the common questions sent in from listeners in the area of personal decision-making regarding fellowship, friends, and family.

"Do you know of a church in my area that believes and teaches what you are preaching?"

That won't be likely. There are very few assemblies who rightly divide the word of truth and preach the gospel according to the revelation of the mystery. Even more rare are those who unashamedly stand on the fact that forgiveness took place at the cross, while salvation happens at the moment you believe. Because we do not come from a school, organization, or patriarchal following, we also differ with some who call themselves mid-acts in a few key areas. To learn more, scroll to the bottom of our Statement of Faith.
In addition to this, be aware that many current and former teachers of the Independent or Bible Baptist persuasion have infiltrated mid-acts believers, hi-jacking common teachings, and deceptively mimicking our speech - while simultaneously warning against some teachings from mid-acts doctrine while they steal and re-work other teachings as their own.
Know this: what is in a man's heart will eventually come out of his mouth, often in the form of contradictory declarations.

"I no longer believe what my pastor teaches. Should I leave?"

We have never advised anyone to leave the assembly they attend. Neither have we ever advised anyone to stay in a setting where false doctrine is being taught. These are personal decisions that only you are qualified to make.

"Do you oppose fellowship or gathering in assemblies?"

Not at all. Fellowshipping in the unity of doctrine is a wonderful, edifying experience for saints, especially those who might need extra support that they may not receive from family. However, it is impossible to fellowship over false doctrine. Unity cannot be forced into erroneous teaching, and is why Ecumenicalism is not Biblical, not even when it is exercised by those who call themselves Right Dividers. Furthermore, the sacrifice of truth for the sake of fellowship only creates false unity. Believers should use their own discretion in these areas.

"After I shared your teachings on social media, others who claimed to be Mid-Acts believers began attacking me and calling me a Universalist. What should I do?"

First, know this: if you believe that a person must trust Christ according to the gospel in order to be saved, and all who do not will suffer everlasting punishment, ultimately being cast into the lake of fire with no second chance for salvation after death - then it is an impossibility that you are a universalist.
Secondly, consider the fact that whenever someone uses this type of rhetoric, character assassinations, false accusations, and insults - they have successfully conceded any argument they are attempting to win.
We must always press forward toward those who will hear the gospel, not allowing ourselves to become sidetracked by those whom Satan uses to try and hinder us from preaching it.
These attacks and false accusations can be very difficult and hurtful, especially when new believers are accosted by those who claim to be fellow saints or friends. But remember: those who are determined to think poorly of you will do so, welcoming any and every negative thing they hear of you. Your time is your most valuable earthly commodity. Don't let those who are unworthy of it, rob you of it.

"I can't get my family to believe the gospel of grace or that Paul is our Apostle for today. They've stopped listening to me and don't want to talk about it. What should I do?"

Be patient, not overbearing. Be kind and considerate. Remember, you haven't always known the truth either. Also consider that not everyone is the same. Whatever method or topic it took for you to see the truth might not be the same for someone else. The best thing we can do is learn to meet people where they are, just as our pattern, the Apostle Paul did. If family and friends refuse to talk to you about it, then the best thing you can do is live the gospel in front of them with your thankful heart to God on full display, showing mercy and grace as often as possible. You are an Ambassador for Christ - HIS representation on earth.
