How I Know I'm Saved - Best News Ever!

Okay, today we're talking about how we can know we're saved.
I've had many to ask that very question, how do I know I'm saved?
How do we know we're saved?
Because God said so.
What must I do to be saved?
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.
If you've forsaken all that's within self, and you've put your trust, your belief on the Lord Jesus Christ, you're saved.
And you're not being saved.
And go ahead and tell others to stop looking for your salvation.
You can't see it.
My salvation has to do with who, not what.
With who I believe and not what I do.
A lot of religious people are offended by those of us who are confident in salvation.
They themselves are religious and unsure and unsaved, and they want us to join them.
It's a miserable state to be in.
Misery loves company.
If I ask, are you alive, you'd say yes.
If I ask you, how do you know, you'd say because I'm breathing.
You see, there are things we can know.
And are you saved?
That's one of those knowable things.
So, stop allowing the lordship legalist to rob you of the joy that comes with knowing.
The joy that comes with knowing your Colossians 3:3 hid in Christ.
Don't allow yourself to be robbed of the peace that comes from knowing that you've been sealed until the day of redemption, Ephesians 1:13 and 14.
In a day when people are forking out big bucks for books, for classes, seminars, and webinars, all in their search for peace, peace and happiness, and here we are with the most incredible knowledge right here in front of us in the Word of God.
And it's free.
No man deserves credit.
This knowledge is from God.
We simply allow Him to expand our wisdom so that we can use this knowledge, this knowledge that's been freely given to us.
Where does our wisdom come from?
God, do we get any credit?
Absolutely not.
What about our righteousness, our sanctification?
There's only one worthy, and it's not you.
It's not me.
Listen to the book.
But of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption, that according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord, 1 Corinthians 1:30.
We get no glory.
All the glory belongs to the Lord and Him alone.
We just have to get out of our head, step away from the mirror, and realize it ain't about us.
All that is good in me comes via Christ Jesus.
And the fact that He took my place on the cross bore my sin upon Himself.
By resting my faith in Him, in His works, His goodness, His perfection, His righteousness, all these things were credited to my account.
All these things religion teaches us to strive after.
We already have them.
One of the biggest problems is understanding who we are and what we have in Christ.
How do we know we're saved?
Because God said so.
How much did our salvation cost?
It's free.
The gift of God is eternal life, Romans 6:23, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
It's the desire of Truth Time Radio that you believe on Christ alone for your righteousness.
Don't attempt to add anything to His finished work.
The Bible is clear that those who do are attempting to establish their own righteousness, Romans
10:3.
Don't try to justify yourself.
The only way to be justified is through faith.
That's where you'll find your peace.
Trying to earn it only brings strife and hardship.
I'm here to preach Christ and Him crucified, 1 Corinthians 1:23, a stumbling block to some and foolishness to others.
But unto us, which are saved, this foolish preaching is the power of God.
It's the power of God and the wisdom of God.
And I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for this gospel is the power of God unto salvation.
People always searching for power.
There it is.
It's in the cross, the preaching of the cross.
Not in the words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Ghost teaches.
Because the natural man, 1 Corinthians 2:14, you see, he receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God for they're foolishness unto him.
Many of today's preachers don't understand the power of this foolish message I preach.
Listen to the book.
For after that, in the wisdom of God, the world by wisdom knew not God.
It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe, 1 Corinthians 1:21.
Today it's like out of mind, out of sight.
The cross, the gospel, the finished work of Christ have all fallen by the wayside and been replaced by a landslide of time-consuming, mind-consuming activities, activities that actually hinder someone from living a vibrant, fruitful life in Christ.
But with all the preacher gimmicks, make no mistake, this finished crosswork preaching you hear us speak so much about, it's making a comeback.
People worldwide who are, 1 Corinthians 2:5, tired of letting their faith stand in the wisdom of men.
Their awakening to the power of God and His call back to the cross.
It's getting louder by the day.
So many who've grown weary of all the gimmicks, the modern day twisty-anity, the selfy-anity gimmicks that everyone's offering these days, it's all about self.
Do this and get that gimmick.
Say these magic words and receive a blessing gimmick.
Seed, time, and harvest.
What about Rick Joyner and the cell phone anointing?
Heard of that one?
This is where you're supposed to call someone who needs a touch from God.
It's where people in attendance during the service will call someone and when they pick up the minister from the stage, he yells out, Lord, send fire over the cell phone now.
The cross?
What's that?
Oh yeah, the cross.
We talked about that one time, didn't we?
And what was that?
Years ago there was the Daniel challenge?
And now they've got the wealth anointing?
Where does it stop?
Mike Murdock's uncommon seed, the financial boaz, they're snake oil salesmen.
This junk's also peddled by Todd Koontz and Paula don't want to be white.
Listen, there's a strange fire burning.
I'll tell you what.
Then we got Joyce Meyer who says she stopped sinning, doesn't sin anymore.
And she does every time she says it.
She lies.
She doesn't sin anymore even though the apostle Paul in 1 Timothy 1:15 said this is a faithful saying worthy of all acceptation.
Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners of whom I am chief.
Notice he didn't say of whom I used to be.
No he said of whom I am.
I am chief of sinners.
Paul, like many of us today, struggled with sin.
Joyce, eh, she just stopped it.
And if you'll just read Romans 7, you'll understand those struggles Paul faced.
The man that God chose to be the apostle of the Gentiles admits to being chief of sinners but a television preacher, Joyce Meyer, she doesn't even sin.
It's a lot to keep up with.
Just more sermonic misdirection.
There's still a large group of those who've been deceived by the deceivers.
But there's also the other side, an awakening, people who are tired of this and ready to get back to the victory that's found in Christ and what He alone single-handedly accomplished for all humanity.
It was His work that allowed God to say that He's no longer counting sins to anyone.
2 Corinthians 5:19.
So many stumble along in their daily walk and they still don't know the good news.
The good news that if God were to right now open their account and take a look at it, He would not see their sin.
It's been removed, erased.
That's the power of the cross.
If God charged the sin that Christ died for, if He charged that to your account after already accepting the payment, the payment that Christ made for it, He would be an unjust God.
He would be recharging.
He would be asking for payment that's already been made.
Think about that.
Let's say you owed a debt to the bank.
Someone paid it off.
The loan officer stamps paid in full on the bank note.
Then you get a letter in the mail asking for payment.
This is what's being taught today.
It's twisty-anity and sanity.
The sin debt was paid.
The sin debt was paid, but you've got to say words.
You've got to ask God to forgive you before He can forgive you.
Nonsense.
Christ died for your sins, so your account is clear.
It's clear from those sins.
You don't ask for it, you don't believe for it.
Sin is not the issue, salvation is.
You need to be saved.
You want to believe for something, believe for that.
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation.
This message you've allowed to be preached to you, you've sat through countless sermons, you allowed your family to be subjected to it, it's a mess, it's nonsensical, unstable.
It may be hard for you to let it go because you've invested so much, but God won't recharge
sins to an account that has been emptied of sins, emptied by the death of Christ.
Now today the only thing standing between someone and their salvation is their unbelief.
Unbelief in the pure, unadulterated, unperverted, anti-man-centered gospel of Christ.
First Corinthians 15 verse 1, I declare unto you the gospel.
Verse 2, by which you're saved.
Whatt's the gospel, Paul?
Verse 3, how that Christ died for our sins.
He was buried but rose the third day.
It's time you believe the only gospel that saves today.
Forget the do this and get that, forget the magic prayers.
It's not about your best life now, the purpose-driven life.
Forget it all, forsake it all, get away from the mirror and put your focus on Christ.
Remember, you only get two educations, the one you're given and the one you give yourself.
