Are You Ignorant of Paul's Unsearchable Riches?

Teaching our listeners to rightly divide the word of truth, making the Bible easier to understand.

You can take us with you wherever you go as we will help you along in discussing these distinctions that you'll find in scripture.
Okay, question, question here for you.
Have you searched Paul's unsearchable riches?
Have you?
Oh, how I wish.
We could get all the religious, denominational system to just take a break from their rituals, take a break from their man-made superstitions, rules, and regulations, just if they could find it within themselves to take a break and look outside their narrow framework and consider Paul's unsearchable riches.
What a difference.
What a change we would see nationwide, worldwide.
It would be spectacular.
Let's take a quick look at Ephesians chapter 3.
One here we're all familiar with Ephesians chapter 3 verse 8, Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, (This is Paul our apostle here), is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
So, what are these unsearchable riches we now possess?
When it comes to grace, we're certainly not in poverty.
We're extremely wealthy.
In John chapter 5 verse 39, Jesus told Israel, he said, Search the scriptures.
But Paul, on the other hand, he says, what he was given to give to us, is unsearchable, quite the difference, quite the opposite.
Unsearchable meaning it cannot be found outside his writings.
Israel, oh, they could go to their prophetic scriptures and find out all about their promises.
But if you would have come along and handed them the thirteen epistles of Paul, they'd be lost.
Their hope's not there.
It's not found there.
But these unsearchable riches Paul wrote of is our central message.
It's at the heart of what we're to be about today, helping others to see what is the fellowship of the mystery.
Look at the next verse, verse (Ephesians) 9, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God,...
The denominational religious system overlooks this mystery, guys, Paul said (Ephesians 3:4), Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)
So, when you overlook this, you miss the mystery of Christ, which is guaranteed to leave you in quite the awkward position, behind the eight-ball.
That's a rough position to try and function from, causing you to struggle in your understanding.
Paul said he would not have us to be ignorant, and the things that he tells us not to be ignorant of are the very things most are ignorant of today, things like spiritual gifts, for example.
1 Corinthians 12:1, Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
Yet what do we see today?
Millions are ignorant concerning spiritual gifts.
A result of them having missed the unsearchable riches the Lord gave Paul to give to the body of Christ.
They didn't get the memo.
They didn't see the breaking news of how God is forming a new creature today, the church which is his body.
A new creature that you can take your Bible, go ahead and do it, I'll give you Duke the hound dog and a three-day head start, and you can search, search, and then search again.
But I'll go ahead and let you in on something.
You're not going to find any description having to do with this new creature anywhere in Israel's prophetic scriptures.
The new creature isn't found outside Paul's epistles.
And this alone should give pause to the know-it-all denominational preacher who refuses correction.
It's the problem of pride, rebellion, ego.
This body of Christ new creature that you and me are a part of has a heavenly destination.
That's where we're going.
They're not.
Heavenly places was never created for Israel.
These are land people.
Their earthly kingdom is what they await.
Our destination and their destination is mutually incompatible.
God's new covenant Israel has an earthly destination awaiting them.
1 Corinthians chapter 6, let's go there, come with me real quick.
If you got a second, come with me.
I want you to see this.
1 Corinthians chapter 6.
A great distinction found here that most overlook.
Verse 19, Paul wrote, What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
Do you see it?
Find me, I challenge you to find me one place throughout the whole of scripture, where Israel, as a nation, were ever described as being the temple of the Holy Ghost.
Oh, they had a temple, but they were not the temple.
We are.
This is a great mystery right here, huh?
Only revealed to Paul and only concerns the body of Christ new creature of this current dispensation.
Incredible news.
The Holy Ghost indwelling the body is not something you'll find under Israel's law program.
This is strictly a grace principle, an exclusive Pauline truth, and Ephesians 1 says, After we believed Paul's gospel, we were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise.
Guess what?
That's another.
Here we have another principle exclusive to this current time of God dispensing his grace.
Israel was never Holy Spirit sealed.
Never kept by any such promise.
If you want to get in step with Israel, you've got to be a track star.
It's a marathon race.
They were under the endurance program.
Required to endure to the end to receive salvation, but for you and I, no, not so.
At the moment we put our faith in Christ for salvation, we underwent a supernatural spiritual water-free baptism whereby we're placed into the body of Christ.
We underwent a supernatural spiritual sealing that sealed us up and gave us eternal security.
Circumcised with a circumcision made without hands and immediately justified.
Now that's good news.
Hey, the Holy Spirit himself now functions as the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession.
That's you and I.
We've been bought.
Bought with a price, sealed, and the only thing we're awaiting is his return to get what he purchased.
A hard truth for some.
Beautiful news for us who understand the mystery, but a hard truth for many to comprehend.
Having been raised in the bondage system, most find this hard to swallow.
But for us who are Titus 2:13 looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and Savior Jesus Christ, hey, we find great comfort in these unsearchable riches.
So, back to our question today.
Have you searched Paul's unsearchable riches?
I so want you to, if you're here today and you're new, hey, I so want you to get this.
I find great comfort in knowing the grace of our Lord and how it was exceeding abundant toward me with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 1:14.
And I want to share that with you because where sin abounded grace did much more abound.
We are not poverty-stricken.
As full-on grace believers, we know better.
We're under the spout where grace comes out.
God's running the 24-hour grace dispensary.
Where the radio is blasting, it's blasting grace, it's set on the grace loop.
And you should not allow anyone to change your inner radio station.
Let it keep playing grace.
Keep it set right there, allow it to shape your inner dialogue.
No more legalism.
That inner dialogue that plays in your head is vitally important to you living a successful and productive grace life.
Your inner dialogue must be properly fed, so watch what you feed it.
You know, today we see fat-free, sugar-free, gluten-free.
But most ministries are grace-free.
Leaving folks unstable in their thinking and their mindset, which leads to insecurity concerning their salvation and their walk.
Not having a proper understanding of their identity, their position in Christ.
True grace teaches that it's not our job to try and secure our heavenly position because it's already been secured for us.
Ephesians 2:6, And hath raised us up together, (Oh this is good), and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
It's a done deal.
Philippians 3:20 agrees, For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
Are you seeing this?
Justified people, we're not waiting for a salvation verdict to come in.
The verdict is already in, it's been read, it's been announced, our conversation is already in heaven, for by one spirit we've already been baptized into one body, 1 Corinthians chapter 12.
It's over, you can't be baptized out of the body, that's absurd.
See, this is all this incredible mystery news, and my friend, it's only found in Paul's epistles.
Even though in the physical, we're still on earth, our spiritual identity, our position, hey, we're already there, we're seated with Christ, we're seated with Christ in the heavenly realm.
So, if your grace radio is working properly, you should be at rest about your salvation.
You should be at peace.
You know, there's great treasure, great reward found right here in God's word.
Psalm 119:162 said, I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.
These unsearchable riches we possess are not fleeting, the things of the world are.
The only guarantee the world can give us is, there are no guarantees.
But in Christ we have great assurance.
Our riches are not temporal, but eternal, and Christ is the sole source of our redemption.
In him is where we find endless love and immeasurable joy.
Paul penned Colossians chapter 2 verse 3, and here it says, In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
In 1 Timothy chapter 1, Paul spoke of a faithful saying worthy of all acceptation, how that Christ came into the world to save sinners, of whom Paul called himself chief.
The good news is Christ died for the vialest of sinners, which explains what we see in Romans chapter 5 verse 10, there we read, For if, when we were enemies, (Notice Paul included himself), when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son,...
Sadly most don't believe this.
We were reconciled to God by the death of his son when we were enemies.
Where?
Where is this talking about, where did it happen?
At the cross.
When we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son.
Hey, the Son doesn't die when someone repents and gets baptized.
The Son doesn't die when someone kneels at an altar and asks Jesus into their heart.
The Son doesn't die when someone says the sinner's prayer.
The Son doesn't die when someone makes the decision to believe the gospel.
The Son died at the cross, when we were enemies.
This is simple, a simple truth that some find hard to believe.
But there's great simplicity in the gospel of Christ.
We believe that while we were still enemies of God, his Son died for our sins at the cross, was buried, and resurrected.
That's where we find our eternal assurance.
And now, for the "in Christ," all the promises of God and him are yay and in him a man.
2 Corinthians 1:20.
And though Christ, he was rich for our sake, you and I, now get this, don't miss it.
Though he was rich for our sake, he became poor that we through his poverty might be rich.
Go read that in 2 Corinthians chapter 8 verse 9.
That's amazing right there, amazing.
And it's why we charge them that are rich in this world that they be not high-minded nor trust in uncertain riches.
But put their trust in the living God who giveth us richly all things to enjoy.
This is Truth Time Radio, rightly dividing the word of truth, hey, it ain't no joke.
It's the real deal, like a fine-tuned machine.
It'll have your Bible study firing on all cylinders, performing at peak performance.
Have you, have you searched Paul's unsearchable riches?
I'm here to tell you that doing so will help clear the confusion.
Some confuse, most actually, confuse, confuse us with Israel thinking that we're a part of the new covenant.
We're not, we're not old covenant, we're not new covenant, we're the new creature, new creature, not new covenant.
The one new man, the fellowship of the mystery, no covenants, no law, no Israel acting as our mediator.
Under Israel's old covenant, the Lord was the law giver.
Under their new covenant, he was the law keeper.
As members of the body of Christ, we don't have the law, we don't have priests, we don't have a promised earthly kingdom.
Israel's old covenant, it had its focus on man's ability to perform.
Their new covenant is about God's ability to perform what they failed to do.
Why aren't more aware of this?
Why is it that even though the Pauline mystery was revealed close to two thousand years ago, almost no one knows of it today?
Why is that?
Why is it that I can find the word dispensation in the Bible more than the words new covenant?
Yet all of Christendom knows about the new covenant, but almost no one knows about a dispensation.
That's incredible.
But without recognizing this distinction, you'll be hard pressed to walk in your true identity.
Galatians 3:27, where Paul penned this, For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Hey, it's hard to put him on if you're ignorant to the mystery.
Recently, on a past podcast, we were discussing Acts 7 where we saw Jesus standing.
We found out that according to Israel's prophets, the Lord standing represented the time of his righteous judgment and outpouring of wrath.
It was getting ready to take place there in Acts 7 at the stoning of Stephen, but it was postponed, and the Lord ushered in a brand new apostle and gave him a brand new administration, the dispensation of grace.
And it's only through Paul's epistles that we can learn of the unsearchable riches that we possess. And for that, we Colossians 1:12, oh, we give thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
Out of gratitude, out of great gratitude, we who are partakers of this incredible inheritance, we should respond with good works.
Titus 3:8, This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works.
These things are good and profitable unto men.
Are we, are we as saved by grace through faith people, are we supposed to be doing good works?
Is doing good works important?
Absolutely.
Sadly, we're hearing of some in these little circles that are now saying,
your works don't matter.
We're saved by grace, your works don't matter.
Hey, that's incorrect.
Don't listen to that nonsense.
Here in verse 14 of the same chapter here in Titus, Paul said, Learn to maintain good works for necessary uses that they be not unfruitful.
Sounds like our works are important, does it not?
Also, notice the key word here, learn, learn.
That's key.
That's essential.
Learn to maintain good works, meaning it doesn't come natural.
Good works are something the believer must learn.
How do we learn to maintain good works?
Study, study, study, that's how.
In order to know what the good works are, that's going to require study, which will lead to our learning what those good works are.
In Ephesians chapter 2 verse 10, you know, everybody likes to read 8 and 9, but verse 10 says, For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Allowing God's perfectly preserved words to go to work in and through us, that's how we're able to maintain good works.
We have in our possession all the unsearchable riches, so we have no excuse.
We lack for nothing.
We're rich beyond measure, guys.
Learning this about ourselves should greatly motivate us.
2 Corinthians chapter 5 there in verse 9, Wherefore we labour, (work) that whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
We're complete in him, Colossians 2:10.
2 Corinthians 5:21, For he (God the Father) hath made him (God the Son) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we (Those of us in Christ) might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Oh, that's good.
Acts 13:38, watch this, Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man (That's Jesus, God in the flesh) is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:
See that?
This speaks to what was accomplished for us at the cross, the gospel.
At the cross is where God stopped imputing sins, verse 39, And by him (Jesus) all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
Now that, that speaks to the moment you believe, the moment of belief, not what took place at the cross.
Forgiveness of sins isn't included in the justified from all things here, no.
Sins are never justified.
Sins have to be forgiven, but at the moment we believe the gospel we're granted total and complete justification.
When you look in the mirror, what do you see?
Yeah, me too.
I know what you mean.
But as a child of the most high, ambassador, a representative of him, we must learn to see ourselves through spiritual eyes, and realize who we really are.
Our true identity, break through the physical chaos and confusion and see ourselves in our true identity.
We are his righteousness.
We are justified from all things.
News that should bring us peace, Romans 5:1, Therefore being justified by faith,
How?
How are we justified?
Justified by faith?
Whose faith?
That's your faith.
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
We have full assurance of salvation.
We have full assurance of being justified from all things that the law of Moses couldn't.
As his children, we possess all the riches, including his life.
We possess eternal life, something only found in him.
This world can't offer a moment of peace, yet God offers eternal peace. Extraordinary, simply extraordinary.
What the world needs, what they need that you and I possess is harmony, harmony with God, but they're still seen as guilty, because forgiveness doesn't clear them from the guilt.
Go read Exodus chapter 34 verse 7.
See, without faith, it's impossible to please God.
They must hear the gospel and then believe what they heard.
By Jesus Christ our Lord, Romans 5:2, we have access by faith unto this grace wherein we stand.
See, we stand there.
We're not waiting to stand in it.
We're already there.
We're not waiting to be evaluated to see if we made the cut.
No, we made it.
We not only made it, but we're on the starting team.
Jesus isn't sitting the bench and neither are we.
None of this, "Put me in, coach," nonsense.
Oh no, we never leave the game.
No need for a water boy because we never thirst.
We possess all spiritual blessings.
As Paul finishes out the verse here by saying, look what he says, We rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Romans 8:(17), And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ;...
Can you think of a better position than that?
This is your true identity.
Christ died you died.
Christ was buried, you were buried.
Christ has risen so have you.
Risen to your new life.
That's what you now possess.
A new vehicle?
Yeah, great.
A new boat?
Fantastic.
A new life?
Oh, you can't beat that.
That's something only God can give.
Romans 5:5, And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
This good news for the believer can never be revoked.
We rejoice in the fact that we can never be separated from the love of God. That's outstanding.
See, this is our permanent position.
Romans 5 verse 8, But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
(Verse 9) Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
(Verse 10) For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Check the news, check all your sources.
You're not going to find anything better than this today, I can tell you that for sure.
This is the best news ever, the good news of Paul's gospel.
This is all a part of his unsearchable riches that he took the time to write down for you and I.
Jesus gave him personally, gave him revelations and visions and had meetings to give him this news, and the world is overlooking it.
If you're here and uncertain of where you're going to spend eternity, listen up.
You can believe on the risen Christ right now at this very moment.
How do you do that?
By resting your faith in the fact that what he completed at the cross was sufficient for your salvation.
Don't add anything.
Don't take anything away.
Just leave it right there.
Let it rest.
Let your, commit your salvation to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Take your hands off of it.
Ephesians chapter 2 verse 8, For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Grace and Peace.
From all of us to all of you.
Thank you.
Thanks for your support of the TTR mobile app.
