Questions We Should Ask

Published on 21 February 2026 at 22:01
  •  If Paul preached the same gospel that was preached in Matthew through John, then why did he NOT mention Mary's Alabaster box as the twelve were commanded to do? (Matthew 26:13)
  •  You've heard about 2 Timothy 2:15 - you may even quote it - but do you know what it means? Just what does it mean to rightly divide the word of truth?
  •  Yes, angels are in the Bible, but do they have wings? Are there really female and baby angels as depicted in art and taught in modern day Christendom? Many are surprised to learn that there are ZERO verses (no scriptural evidence) to support winged angels, female angels, or baby angels. It is nothing more than religious tradition birthed out of the vain imaginations of men.
  •  If the New Testament says to WORK for righteousness, (Acts 10:35) but also says to NOT work for righteousness, (Romans 4:5) which are we to follow today?
  •  Have you ever wondered why some men call themselves "Reverend" when God says its HIS name? (Psalms 111:9)
  •  If the word "repent" means to turn from sin, did God sin? (Exodus 32:14, Psalm 106:45)
  •  Does the New Testament REALLY start in Matthew 1:1? (Hebrews 9:16-17)
  •  If the Bible says to be baptized by a preacher in water to be saved, (Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38) but also says to be baptized by the Spirit into the body, (1 Corinthians 12:13) then why does Paul say there is only ONE baptism? (Ephesians 4:5)
  •  If ALL sins are already forgiven (Ephesians 1:7, Colossians 2:13) then why does John say to confess sins to GET them forgiven? (1 John 1:9)
  •  How could forgiving someone else be a necessity in getting your sins forgiven (Matthew 6:14), when on this side of the cross, your sins are not even being counted against you? (2 Corinthians 5:19) Did Christ, finish the work or is there something else WE must do?
  •  And finally, why hasn't your church taught you how to answer these questions? (Titus 1:9)
