Debunking the "Ignorant Jesus" Theory

Sometimes I read something on someone’s post and am reminded of how subtle and cunning Satan is - for there is nothing new under the sun and Satan himself knows the weakness of human flesh. In particular, to not study the scriptures for ourselves thus protecting our mind by the discernment of His word.

A long time ago the Holy Spirit reminded me by His word, that there will be some who, by lack of spiritual understanding, and pride, will naturally lean unto their own understanding, merely to gain some sort of following or recognition, instead of humbling themselves before His word, thus they will and cannot be corrected.

The old ‘ignorant Jesus theory’ had been around grace circles for a very long time and because of a new influx of ‘newbies to the faith’ it has reared its ugly teaching head again, by those who are either wilfully ignorant (parroting others) or wilfully deceiving (to gain statue /standing among others).

It comes down to whether you believe Almighty God at His word, or whether you believe someone who is willing to play Bible gymnastics in order to gain status.

If someone is incorrect, then are we able to stand on the word of God, or would we prefer to allow Satan to confuse and wear us down, to ‘keep the peace’?

It’s nothing new that the Lord Jesus Christ’s deity is and always has been under attack, the subtlety of Satan’s craftiness usually comes from a teacher we trust, instead of the word of God that we are to stand upon.

It will benefit you most, if instead of blindly trusting man, you instead believe the book, believe God and understand that just because He hasn’t ’spelled it out for you’ doesn’t mean that you gain your understanding from the intent of man instead of having faith and trust that God is who He says He is. Neither was He partially or fully ignorant as man, He was and is Almighty God, He didn’t ’become God’ nor did He ‘flick a switch between being as man and being God’ He knew all things and chose to speak for His Father’s purpose, in obedience to the Father.

100% GOD & 100% MAN - the WORD OF GOD DECLARES THIS unequivocally.

There is One, WHO IS Truth and WHO HAS NOT changed, the Risen LORD JESUS CHRIST, GOD ALMIGHTY – who ALWAYS WAS, ALWAYS IS and FOREVER WILL BE;  100% FULLY GOD and 100% FULLY MAN – GOD ALMIGHTY!

1 Timothy 3:16 (AKJB) And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

JESUS CHRIST - Colossians 1:19 (AKJB) For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

...IS THE CREATOR.

Genesis 1:1 (AKJB) In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Isaiah 44:24 (AKJB) (Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself; 

Colossians 1:16 (AKJB) For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: John 1:3 (AKJB) All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

...IS OMNIPRESENT.

...IS BEYOND PHYSICAL LIMITS.

...ACCEPTS WORSHIP WHEN ONLY GOD IS TO BE WORSHIPPED.

Matthew 4:10 (AKJB) Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. ...CAN ONLY BE SAVIOUR IF IN FACT HE IS GOD.

Hosea 13:4 (AKJB) Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me. Philippians 3:20 (AKJB) For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

...IS CALLED THE ‘HOLY ONE’ SAME AS GOD THE FATHER.

Isaiah 40:25 (AKJB) To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One. Acts 2:27 (AKJB) Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

...IS CALLED REDEEMER, SAME AS GOD THE FATHER.

Isaiah 48:17 (AKJB) Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.  

1 Peter 1:18-19 (AKJB) Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 

...JESUS FORGIVES SINS AND ONLY GOD CAN DO THAT.

...IS ALSO CALLED THE ‘I AM’ (did He not know that)?

1 John 5:7,20 (AKJB) For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. ...RAISED HIMSELF FROM THE DEAD as did God and the Spirit.

...IS A ‘MAN’ ALL THERE IS TO JESUS CHRIST...???

...HAS MORE THAN ONE POSITION THAT HE TAKES.  

Isaiah 9:6-7 (AKJB) For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

IF CHRIST DOES NOT KNOW ALL THINGS, THEN HE IS NOT GOD. 

Job 42:2 (AKJB) I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.

Isaiah 40:28 (AKJB) Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

Job 37:16 (AKJB) Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge? 

John 1:48 (AKJB) Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.

(WHICH WOULD NOT BE TRUE IF HE HAD NONE OF THE ATTRIBUTES OF GOD AND ONLY KNEW WHAT THE FATHER TOLD HIM) 

John 6:64 (AKJB) But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him. 

John 16:30 (AKJB) Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.

And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. NOTE AGAIN, POSITIONAL TRUTH ...

Hebrews 2:8 (AKJB) Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.

..... IF CHRIST ONLY KNEW OT AND WHAT GOD TOLD HIM THEM IT WOULD BE WRONG TO SAY CHRIST INSPIRED THE BIBLE  

2 Timothy 3:16 (AKJB) All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 

1 Peter 1:10-11 (AKJB) Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: 11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
