Hi! This is brother Scott with another Truth Time, Look in the Book!
Today is part 6 in my series, “Bible Key Words and Meanings A to Z.”
We continue with the letter “B.”
The word today is:
Bold
(Ephesians 6:19 KJV)
(19) And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
After Paul’s encounter with Christ in Acts 9, he began to preach boldly in the name of Jesus.
(Acts 9:27, 29 KJV)
(27) But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus. ...
(29) And he spake boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus, and disputed against the Grecians: but they went about to slay him.
Once you learn to rightly divide the word of truth, 2 Timothy 2:15, and once you hear and believe in the gospel that saves today, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, you too will be confident enough to speak boldly to others in the name of Jesus and his finished cross work! You will look forward to it!
