Coming up in just a few moments, we're going to take you into a Bible study that I did a few days ago titled, "Searching for Star Wars Jesus."
There's a Tik-Tok Bible study group that has been listening and following us for some time.
Not long ago we were contacted by them and told that they would like to put together an event for us to come speak at.
We agreed.
My wife, she's Facebook friends with one of the guys promoting it, and not long ago she noticed where he posted a comment claiming that Jesus is his own father, and he went on about the Trinity and so forth, saying things that Truth Time in good conscience just cannot support.
We can't be a part of that.
The teaching that Jesus is his own father is of course heresy, and you'll hear more about that on today's podcast.
So my wife saw this and contacted the gentleman to point out his error, to which she received no response.
Instead of being a man about it and answering her back or at least calling us to discuss it, he continues to publicly humiliate himself by saying that Truth Time does not believe Jesus is God.
And another guy from the same group, he did the same thing, knee-jerked over there at Tik-Tokersville telling others how sad he was and to pray for us because we don't believe that Jesus is his own father. And now after the fact, he started blowing up my phone and sending my wife messages wanting to talk.
Don't think so.
Too late.
Got nothing to say to you.
That should have been the first thing you did.
So, if you're affiliated with a church, a Bible study group or what have you, and you would like us to come and be a part of that, great.
We always enjoy that.
But read our statement of faith first.
Okay, I wanted to take a moment to set this up because while I do touch on it a bit here in this podcast we're about to hear, I don't really go into it.
It was recorded a few days ago and frankly I wasn't planning on getting into it until we realized that this would be a perfect time to reach some of you who had made plans to be at this event.
Even though we never advertised it, we had listeners who got wind of it and contacted us to say they were going.
Now, it's not a problem getting back to those who contacted us through email, but for those who called the office and talked to us and all the ones who even left voicemails saying they were coming, we don't really have a way of letting them know of the cancellation.
Hence the reason I'm making this announcement.
We're hoping that the ones that we have no way of contacting will hear this.
Don't want you traveling to an event expecting to see us and us not be there.
Okay, getting ready to take you into today's teaching, but before I do, let me say this.
There are a few verses that I did not cover.
We continue to learn of other verses they used to prop up this Jesus is his own father heresy.
I know one they use is in John chapter 14, which in no way supports their claim.
I'll do a deep dive and exegete that next time.
And there's one I think my wife said in Isaiah they use.
We'll hit on that as well.
So there will be a part two.
Alright, we love all you WTTR mobile appers.
And our podcast family.
And this will eventually make its way to YouTube.
Love you guys as well.
Just think, how blessed we all are to have come into this knowledge of Pauline truth.
What a blessing.
What a blessing indeed.
Okay, going to put you into today's pre-recorded program.
Today, we're going on a search for Star Wars Jesus.
We're addressing this Jesus is the Father heresy.
So without further ado, let's get into it.
Let's go to the word, not man's word.
Let's go to the Bible.
Hey, there's a fella out there named John.
Well, he's making his rounds, lying about Truth Time Radio, saying we don't believe that Jesus is God.
Absurd?
Yeah, I know.
And most of you know this, too.
All of you that are faithful saints that have been with us for any amount of time, you know a lie when you hear one.
But, since we're hearing from new listeners on almost a daily basis, especially now that we've got the mobile app, well, we thought we'd just clear the air.
So it's pretty simple.
We'll just push a button here and let's see what we've been teaching.
God satisfied his own requirement for perfect atonement, which would result in the forgiveness of the entire world.
He did so by coming down in the form of man and doing it all by himself.
Acts 20:28, "Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God," (Now watch), "which he hath purchased with his own blood."
Whose own blood?
God's.
And hey, there is now a silly rumor circulating, claiming that God wasn't in Christ on the cross.
But if this verse doesn't tell you how God was in Christ on the cross, I don't know what does.
Can anyone say, digress?
Hmm.
So John the liar is a pretty sad fella.
But be sure to keep him in your prayers.
Jesus is the Father.
Okay, let's see.
Let's see by the word of God and not the word of man.
Hebrews chapter 9, verse 24, "For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:"
So, Jesus is the Father?
Hmm.
Here we read, Jesus appeared in the PRESENCE of the Father.
Let's continue.
John chapter 5, verse 20, "For the Father loveth the Son, and showeth him all things that himself doeth."
So John said the Father loveth the Son, but the Star Wars Jesus gang, they say the Father loveth himself, and shows himself all the things that he himself doeth.
Interesting.
You can't get out of the first book of the Bible without getting this thing right.
But some, they're operating from a personal agenda platform.
Genesis chapter 1, verse 26, Moses wrote, "Let us," (Say that again) "Let us," (One more time), "Let us make man in OUR image after OUR likeness."
And ten chapters later said, "Let us go down and there confound their language that they may not understand one another's speech."
Speaking of understanding, what's hard about this?
"Let us."
"Let us."
If Jesus is the Father, there is no us.
Out here preaching a Star Wars Jesus.
When Paul clearly tells us that God is a triunion, triunity, the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit.
Paul makes it plain.
The Father is God, the Son is God, the Holy Spirit is God.
Three forms of one God.
One in unity.
Unity, not disunity.
One God, three functions.
He is not contained and boxed up by man and his human logic and reasoning, you need spiritual eyes for this.
Hebrews 1:1, "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
Verse 2, Hath in these last days spoken to us by his Son..."
You've got to be spiritual blind to miss this.
The distinction is clear.
Look at the verse.
God spoke and Jesus spoke.
That's clear.
In time past, the Father spake through the prophets.
In these last days, God spoke by his Son.
Read on, "...whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
Verse 3, "Who being the brightness of his glory, and the expressed image of his person..."
Whoa!
Hit the brakes.
So Truth Time's statement of faith is wrong because we use the word, "person?"
Don't think so.
We're agreeing with the Bible.
The Father just described his Son as being the brightness of his glory and the expressed image of his person.
Are you waking up yet?
Jesus is not the Father.
He's the image of him.
Jesus bore the image of the Father, which means he is not the Father.
Is Jesus God?
Yes.
God is Father, Son, and Spirit.
Read on.
Hebrews 1:3 continued, "...and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high."
Wait a minute.
Who's the Majesty?
The claim is Jesus is the Father, right?
Yet the text says, ah, who cares about the text?
We're all having a big old time with this new pet doctrine, right?
They got Jesus as being the Father, even though the text says, when Jesus, quote, "...by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the...," (Who?)
"...the Majesty on high."
Remember now, Ephesians 1:17 plainly speaks of the God of our Lord is the Father of glory.
So who is the Majesty on high?
God the Father, not God the Son.
Hebrews 1:4, "Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they."
Hebrews 1:5, "For unto which of the angels said he at any time,..."
Now listen, listen carefully, "...Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee. And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son."
This Jesus is his own Father garbage, just keeps getting a big truth slap.
In Matthew chapter 6:8, Jesus said, "...for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him."
He didn't say, "Before you ask me."
He referred to the Father as, "him."
And when he taught them to pray, Jesus the Son said, (Matthew 6:9 and Luke 11:2) "...Our Father, which art in heaven."
So even though the prayer is to his Father in heaven, while he, Jesus, is on earth, they want you to believe he's praying to himself.
In heaven.
Even though, even though he's right there with them on earth.
This will get seven flavors of nuts real quick.
In Matthew 23, verse 9, Jesus speaking again, says, "...call no man your father..."
"...call no man your father upon the earth: For one is your Father, which is..."
Where?
Hey, I just got to stop a moment and ask a question before I finish this verse.
Are you getting the sense that everyone's going mad?
Jesus said, "Call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven."
Not will be in heaven.
But if the Star Wars Jesus gang was there, they'd have butted in and said, uh, "Hey, no, no, he's not. He's right here, Jesus. You're the Father.
Didn't you know?
I know some Tik-Tokers that can straighten you out on this thing.
All you got to do is go catch their lies.
Go do that and you might learn something about yourself."
Back to the book.
Our Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians chapter 2 verse 10 said, "To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave anything, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the..."
What?
Hmm.
Surely the next word Paul's going to use...
Surely it can't be "person," can it?
"...forgave I it in the PERSON of Christ;"
Oh my.
Here's that pesky Paul, agreeing with Truth Time's statement of faith.
What's wrong with him?
Maybe we better add him to the prayer list, also.
Job chapter 13, verses 7 and 8, "Will ye speak wickedly for God? and talk deceitfully for him? Will ye accept his person?..."
Well, would you looky there.
Job agrees with Paul.
Paul said Jesus was a person.
Now here's Job calling God a person.
Hmm.
Where have I, where have I heard that before?
Oh, Truth Time statement of faith.
Those heretics over there at Truth Time are saying what Paul and Job said.
I dare they.
In their statement of faith, they said, he's, quote, "Perfect in all his attributes, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit."
Back to the book.
2 Corinthians chapter 13, verse 14, Yeah, we're in Paul's epistles. They claim you can't prove that Jesus is not the Father with Paul's epistles, but we're doing it here today, "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen."
Wait, what?
All I do is follow the Tik-Tokers, and I didn't know this verse was here.
Well, glad you showed up today.
Welcome to math class.
Let's do the math.
Look at the verse.
Look at the verse and stop listening to the man.
"The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ," that's one, "and the love of God," that's two, "and the communion of the Holy Ghost,..." that's three.
Yep.
Truth Time's statement of faith.
Right there.
Three persons of the triune God.
We don't care nothing about no trinity, no Catholic doctrine.
We teach against the Catholics all day every day.
Have been for a long time.
Has nothing to do with them.
We don't give away Bible truth to a bunch of religious nuts.
The triune, the triunity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit is right here in the Bible, been here all along.
We don't care who believes it, who teaches it, who don't.
Doesn't matter to us.
It's right here under your nose in one verse, by the way.
So we got to stay with Paul, right?
We can't prove it with Paul's letters, can we?
Okay.
Go to Philippians chapter 2, verse 5, Here we read, now this is Bible, this isn't Tik-Tok knowledge, this is Bible, "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:"
Verse 6, "Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:"
Hey, listen.
If Jesus is a form of the Father, and if He is equal to the Father, then guess what?
He's not the Father, but a form, an equal form.
So we will unashamedly leave our statement of faith alone, unashamedly and unapologetically.
We're confident that we're right in step and in line with Paul.
You need to catch up.
And we ain't about to budge for anyone's new shiny heretical doctrine they've learned.
We're saying the same thing the Bible says.
We've been doing it all along, and we'll keep doing it.
And we never dreamed that some of you needed us to take you by your little hand and go read our statement of faith for you.
We kind of thought you could do that yourself.
I mean, you know, call us crazy and all, but we sort of thought you were capable of handling that task by yourself.
That would have been a wise thing to do, would it not?
Before acting like you believe the same thing that we do.
You don't.
And quite frankly, we're glad about it.
We don't want nothing to do with your Star Wars Jesus.
You can have Him.
That's another Jesus.
I am your Father.
No, He's the Son.
So if you're waiting on Truth Time to edit that statement of faith, don't.
Move on down the highway as quick as you can.
We've never been numbers-oriented anyway.
And we ain't about to start now.
Well, if you want me to delete that app, just say the word.
"Word."
Was that plain enough for you?
Let me say it again.
"Word."
A listener sent us a clip of this old Johnny B. Goode over there on his tic-tac-toe live lying through his teeth, making false claims about us.
He doesn't realize how foolish he looks to any sane person with walking-around sense and at least one good finger that is capable of pushing a button.
Push a button and listen to our multiplicities of teachings where it is obvious that we teach Jesus is God.
My wife very nicely responded by sending him our statement of faith.
And in her response, she reminded him that he said, and we've got the receipts, he said he agreed with everything, everything on our statement of faith.
And instead of manning up and making a toll-free call, you know, we got a toll-free line for you, but instead of doing that, he chose to go to and fro spreading disinformation, not to be confused with misinformation.
No, it's on purpose.
Proving himself to be knowingly lying to others.
Disinforming people by saying Truth Time don't believe Jesus is God.
Our statement of faith, the first four words concerning Jesus is, quote, "Jesus Christ is God."
He took it upon himself to change those four very clear to understand words, "Jesus Christ is God," and change them into, "They don't believe Jesus is God."
Folks, we have some very sad people out here claiming to represent Christ.
You try to help them, and this is what you get.
Some people just can't be helped.
The level of ignorance we deal with is almost unbelievable.
I got news for you.
Not believing that Jesus is the Father does not qualify, does not equate to believing Jesus isn't God.
It's simply believing the Bible, believing our Apostle Paul, which assures me that he is not the Father.
I can't help the fact that you've read a $10 book and decided to believe it over Paul.
That's your problem.
The man who wrote the book by his own testimony isn't even saved.
Now, I don't know his heart, but I'm going by the words that come out of his mouth.
He's a lordshipin' salvationist.
That's who he is.
Stuck that heretical Star Wars Jesus right under your nose, and you took you a big bite and said, "Mmm, I like it."
Regardless of what a man's book tells you, Paul tried to wake you up with the truth with some real simple words.
Let's continue.
Ephesians chapter 1, verse 17.
Back to the book.
Back to THE book, not A book.
Ephesians 1:17, "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him."
Did you get it?
See, we ain't blowing through these verses like a madman.
We take our time.
We take our time, exegete the scriptures, and see if we can logically reason through this.
Some call themselves Pauline.
Well, he's trying to give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, but you refuse it.
This is WTTR here today searching for the Star Wars Jesus.
The Star Wars Jesus gang, they all ask questions like this: "So, what's the Holy Spirit's name then?"
Uhhhhh, you just said it.
What's the Holy Spirit's name?
Holy Spirit.
Capital H.
Capital S.
Just like you do your name.
There are three that bear record and all co-exist.
There are three that bear record and they're all co-eternal.
Jesus is co-eternal and always has been.
Jesus co-existed and always has.
The Father and the Spirit have as well.
So you say, "Don't go outside of Paul's epistles."
Okay, that's what we're doing.
You got it.
Galatians chapter 4 verse 3, "Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world. But when the fullness of time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law."
The Father sent forth His Son?
Hmm.
Could that mean that the Son is not the Father?
No, the Son was not the Father.
The Son was sent by the Father.
This is elementary and right here in the text.
You only want Paul's epistles.
Speaking of Jesus, he wrote Colossians 1:15, "Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:"
Jesus is not the Father but made in the image of him.
And this guy's book that's going around don't even know what the Godhead is.
See, the Godhead has become His gospel.
Well, He don't even know the gospel, at least not by the words that come out of his mouth.
So He has made the Godhead his gospel in so much that He repeats this.
He says, "If you believe this, what I'm teaching here about the Godhead, you're saved. If you don't, you ain't."
Nothing about the cross, nothing about the blood, nothing about the resurrection.
He's stuck on stupid.
Do I believe you need to understand the Godhead?
Absolutely.
But if that's all you can talk about, we know where your mind is.
And then when given an opportunity to give the gospel, you don't.
Then I'm sitting here reading a book, wasting ten dollars, and listening to a man.
Let him shovel in, let him spoon-feed some information in my spirit, and he's likely not even saved.
But wait.
Paul's epistles has more.
Verse 19.
Right here in this same chapter.
Watch.
"For it pleased the Father that in Him should all fullness dwell."
What?
Say that again, Paul.
I thought Jesus was the Father.
Let's do some more math.
"For it pleased the Father," (that's one,) "that in Him," (Jesus, that's two,) "should all fullness dwell."
In Him, Jesus dwells the fullness.
Not, Jesus IS the fullness.
But in Him dwells the fullness.
Some have a difficult time with grammar.
And funny thing about these who claim to know Paul's epistles, but at the same time say, "We're not supposed to go outside of his epistles to get these answers."
Excuse me?
How do you make that case when Paul himself goes outside of his epistles?
Huh?
His epistles are made up of a whole lot of him going outside of them.
He quoted Old Testament many, many times.
And even instructs us to go outside of his epistles.
He says, All scripture," (that's all) "All scripture," (say it again) "All scripture, all scripture is given by the inspiration of God," 2 Timothy 3:16, "And is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness."
And in Romans 15:4 he said, "For whatsoever things were written aforetime, were written for our learning."
Are you a part of the "our" or are you not?
Can't go outside of Paul's epistles.
You better get off the mic and get back into this book.
If you want to be disobedient, be disobedient.
If a man want to be ignorant, let him remain ignorant.
No wonder you think Jesus is his own father.
Some need to use their discernment so they can recognize a loose cannon when they see one, allowing themselves to be easily manipulated.
But okay for now, since they want to claim there's a rule that you can't go outside of Paul's epistles, all right, we'll oblige you.
Ephesians 1:17, "That the God of our Lord Jesus, the Father of glory,"
Stop right there, hold up, wait a minute, here's God and Jesus in one verse and Jesus is the Father, right?
Didn't think so.
Paul said, "God is the Father of glory, just read it.
You're out here telling others that Jesus is the Father when in the words of a fifth grader, Paul, your apostle, just told you that he's not.
Reread it if you have to.
You can find the term, "Son of God," I think it's around 50 times, but Jesus is not the Father.
He said, "God is the Father of glory."
If I didn't have another verse, this one here clears it up for me.
You're wrong and your Star Wars Jesus is another Jesus.
"No, I am your Father."
"That's not true. That's impossible."
"Search your feelings, you know it to be true."
"Nooooooo! Nooooooo!"
Truth Time Radio here today searching for the Star Wars Jesus.
Stay with Paul's epistles.
Can't go outside of Paul's epistles, that's their rule.
Okay, Philemon Chapter 1 verse 3, "Grace to you and peace from God our," who?
"Father." "From God our Father and," Paul says, "and the Lord Jesus Christ."
But wait, Paul, I thought Jesus WAS the Father.
It's plain, folks.
God is one, not two, not three or more.
God is one.
There is only one true and living God and he's eternal.
He's always been throughout eternity past and into eternity future.
One God.
If I drew on the board the word, "Father," who is that?
God.
If I drew on the board, "Jesus," who is that?
God.
If I drew on the board, "Holy Spirit," who's that?
God.
But they are distinct in your Bible and you'll never change that.
Serving different purposes.
They have different assignments and you'll never change that.
I don't particularly like comparing God with an egg, but the principle, the principle is the same. Eggshell, egg white, egg yolk.
Which is the egg?
Father, Son, Spirit.
Which is God?
Hopefully you get this.
At no time, can the shell become the yolk.
At no time can the yolk become the white.
None will ever stop being an egg.
God the Father, God the Son, God the Spirit.
While we're sticking with Paul's epistles, get 1 Timothy 1 verse 2, "Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith, grace, mercy, and peace from..." (who?) "...from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord."
Let's try again.
Romans 1:7, "To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints, grace to you and peace from,..." (oh, here we go again,) "God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ."
There's so many verses having 100% assurance, knowledge that Jesus is not the Father.
You say Jesus is the Father, you ain't Pauline.
2 John 1:3, "Grace be with you, mercy and peace from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father,..." (the Son of the Father,) "...in truth and love."
Now that's plain.
Hey, you ain't Pauline or even Johnline.
You're somewhere off in the weeds.
My, some of you have been bamboozled, hoodwinked, had the wool pulled plumb over your eyes.
Just as Paul warned, 1 Corinthians 1:23, for some it's just not enough to preach Christ crucified.
And to one group, it's a stumbling block.
And to another, it's foolishness.
The cross, it gets pushed aside while they run all the rabbit trails.
And some of the followers, they're just foolish enough to run too.
It's not enough to preach Christ and Him crucified, oh no!
Not enough to preach the perfect sacrifice for sins, our hope of glory.
Not enough to preach the cross to the lost world.
Nah, we're going to run over here and do this new thing.
Some are so easily distracted by the God of this world.
Squirrel.
The devil got you wasting time preaching Star Wars Jesus.
Now it's consumed you.
They found a new shiny toy to start preaching about, got all wrapped up, consumed by it.
A sitting duck for Satan.
He'll have a field day with those kind of folk.
Then one day, you'll look back and wonder where all the time went, why you allowed someone to put his hand up the back of your shirt and use you like a puppet.
Like those kids, some of us grew up with, the ones that would get a new toy, and the first thing they'd do is run outside to show it off.
And if there were a couple of other kids out there, he'd take his new toy and only allow one to play with it, which ended up pitting them against each other.
Today, we have grown men doing the same thing.
Look at my new shiny doctrine.
Come play with me.
Subscribe here and I'll tell you all about it.
Foolishness.
Just sowing discord.
Jesus is God, but he's not the Father, because God is more than just the Father.
Let me say that again.
Jesus is God, but he's not the Father, because God is more than just the Father.
He tried to explain it to you real simple like here in this Bible that you claim to believe.
God is the Father, God is the Son, God is the Holy Spirit.
Write those three down on a piece of paper and tell me just which one is God.
This isn't a let every man be persuaded in their own mind thing.
This is serious.
And you have no business preaching about a Jesus you call Father when Jesus never referred to himself as Father.
Jesus didn't, Paul didn't, but you do.
You're manipulating God's Word.
Back to the book real quick, "...may give unto you the spirit of wisdom revelation in the knowledge of him:"
Verse 18, "The eyes of your understanding be enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of glory of his inheritance in the saints,"
Verse 19, "And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,"
Verse 20, "Which he..." Stop there. Who's the "he?" Just read it and believe it.
The "he" is Ephesians 1:17, "Father of glory." Read on, "...wrought in Christ, when he raised him (up) from the dead,..." Still talking about the Father of glory.
Jesus ain't the Father of glory.
Read, "...and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,"
So let me get this straight.
We're supposed to buy into the narrative that says Jesus, who you say is the Father, was raised to sit at the Father's right hand?
I think I'll pass on that.
This numbskull doctrine has two fathers.
That's a strange looking bird right there.
Only Paul's epistles, right?
Great.
Verse 21, "Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:"
Verse 22, "And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,"
So just who GAVE him?
Look at the verse.
The Father, of course.
So Jesus is not the Father, he was, given by the Father.
Plain as the nose on your face.
But if you're not weaned off the milk or drawn from the breast, you'll allow your spiritual immaturity to take over, causing you to knee-jerk and get this thing wrong.
God is one, and he's plenty capable of expressing himself in three ways.
Five ways.
Nine hundred ways, if he chooses.
He's omnipresent and can do what he wants.
Stop ignoring verses and limiting God with your puny little human opinions of him.
Still searching for the Star Wars Jesus.
Can't find him.
The Star Wars Jesus gang, they'll say, "Jesus is the one mediator between God and man."
And they're correct.
But to that I say, what?
That's our point.
How does that make your point?
You're cutting yourself off at the knees and making our argument for us.
Jesus is the one mediator between God and man.
God, the Father of glory.
Remember?
Ephesians 1:17, Hey, we don't need Jesus to mediate between the Father and us if he is the Father.
Don't you get that?
Some say, "Jesus is going to call the body of Christ up and present us to God."
Now, surely you didn't miss that.
If Jesus calls us up, presents us to God, who's Jesus presenting us to?
I thought he was the Father.
This new math is giving me a headache.
"Come on over here to our side," they say.
We ain't on no man's side.
The only side we're on is God's.
Paul said, a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
Here's the remedy to that.
Don't join the lump.
That's it.
There you go.
That solves it real quick.
We will never falsely teach that Jesus is the Father.
Forget it.
And our statement of faith was there before you even knew how to rightly divide the word of truth, maybe even before you were saved.
And the question is, why would you support someone when you don't even know what they believe?
You should write, "Note to self: never support a teacher who teaches contrary to what I believe."
Hey, that's what statement of faiths are for.
Study them carefully.
John said, 1 John 5:7, "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."
One plus one plus one equals one God.
Three in one.
Jesus is not the Father.
He has always maintained that from the Father he came, and to the Father he will return.
Where's that?
John 5:37, "And the Father himself, which hath sent me,..." (wait a minute, I thought you were the Father) "...hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape."
Nor seen his shape.
Man, that's clear.
John 14:12, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; (the) and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father."
But you ARE the Father.
"And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father..." (no, Jesus, you ARE the Father) "...may be glorified in the Son."
Hey, you won't find a Star Wars Jesus, no matter what dispensation you're in.
True now, true then, true throughout eternity.
Eternity past and future.
These three bear record, the Father, that's one, the Word, that's one, and the Holy Ghost, that's one.
And these three are one.
The Catholics do not have a contract on this Bible truth.
We teach against Catholicism, always have, always will.
And this triunity here, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, we stand with Paul, because that's what he taught.
Okay, Christ died for each and every one of your sins.
He was buried, but he's risen.
You don't need your sins forgiven.
They already are.
What you need is imputed righteousness.
How do you receive that?
Romans 4:24, Glad you asked, "...if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;"
Verse 25, "Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification."
That's news to grow on.
Rest right there.
Take rest.
Grace and peace.
