One of the favorite things we're enjoying is talking to all of you listeners.
I was talking to someone a while ago about these who have no problem adding to the Word of God.
Some start a new doctrine, some rehash old ones, which is the case more often than not.
They just bring back an old thing, repackaged with a pretty little bow on top.
That's all you gotta do and watch the sheep flock up.
They flock together and begin to parrot what they heard.
Group think, camp think, herd think.
Then a little leaven finds a crack, comes in and leavens the whole lump.
Paul said, What happened, man?
You were running the race so well.
Who?
Who did you let come in and hinder you?
Now look at you.
This persuasion, what, Paul?
This persuasion cometh not of him that called you.
You should ask yourself, Who is this that I allowed to persuade me?
How well do I really know him?
Most of twistianity, twistandum, they have a hard time making it out of the first book of the Bible without adding to and twisting the Word of God.
Adding to it has always been popular.
It started back there with Eve's encounter with the serpent.
And it's still going on today.
People have angels being female.
They are not.
They give them wings, but they have none.
And you'll never find a chubby, naked baby angel in Scripture either.
Nowhere.
You'll find them in gift shops in the Catholic church, but not in the Word.
Then we've all heard so many false sayings.
You know, I heard one not long ago.
The one that many parrot after someone dies.
Heaven just gained another angel.
Now we do understand this is used as some sort of comforting mechanism.
But it's simply not true.
And quite frankly, the truth is much more comforting than living in a shadow of a lie.
But, you've got to know it.
You've got to know the truth first.
Heaven did not gain another angel.
God created all the angels He needed.
Humans don't die and turn into angels.
But this is how false doctrines start.
Instead of being like the Acts chapter 17, those there in Berea, for decades these things have gone unchecked.
And what happens is they spread through groups, camps, herds, and sheeple like a California forest fire.
Talked to one of our listeners, a dear saint there in Fort White, Florida.
Her brother, once steady in faith, sound in doctrine, is now off on a rabbit trail.
Following the Pied Piper as he looks through her brother's telephone and hypnotically and methodically manipulates the very clear verses right here on the page.
There have been countless times over the years when we were speaking to someone.
We made an appeal to God's Word.
To show them the truth.
You can give them scripture upon scripture upon scripture that plainly refutes what they are saying.
To only have them respond with, Oh, that's not what that means.
It really doesn't mean what it says.
Here's what it really means.
And then they proceed to tell you their version of it.
Which is nothing more than an attack on God's Word and an insult to your intelligence.
This goes on today.
They open God's Word, run straight into the garden, climb the tree of knowledge, and put an apple on it.
What apple?
No such mention of an apple on that tree.
The lyrics, "for the Bible tells me so," come to mind.
There's a lot of things we've believed that it does not.
The Bible does not tell us so.
Man spins it, then he tells you it's so, but not the Bible.
Some will tell you that the Bible teaches an age of accountability.
That's a lie.
It does no such thing.
For the Bible tells me so.
No, it didn't.
It never told you of a horned devil either.
He's actually the opposite and appears as an angel of light.
And he's not down at the local bar.
He's in the local church.
He might be that man you're staring at on your phone.
While he's staring back at you.
Be obedient, saints.
And like the book says, Be wise as the serpent.
The Bible never tells you about an altar call.
The Bible never tells you how to ask Jesus in your heart to be saved.
For the Bible tells me so.
No, it never did.
It never told you of three wise men.
And animals, hey, they entered the ark by sevens.
Not just by twos, by the way.
The by sevens there on Noah's ark were the clean animals.
The by twos were the unclean.
And for some reason, that's where the focus is.
The unclean.
All the children's books and the Sunday school stories, they focus on two by two.
The animals going on to the ark.
What animals?
The unclean.
And that's where the focus today is.
On the unclean doctrine.
For the Bible tells me so.
Oh, you may think love is blind, but your Bible didn't teach you that.
Nor did it tell you that if someone is telling you something with passion and pathos, that that means it's true.
It does not.
Be aware of a man and his new revelations.
We've taught on this before.
You got some, they'll say, If you've yet to get this, it's because God hasn't revealed it to you yet.
But he will.
That's not a sound teacher, and you better run.
That's all I can say.
One word.
Run.
And don't hold your breath waiting on a revelation from God.
The last revelation was given way back there in the first century.
The revealing is D-O-N-E done.
There's no more revealing going on today.
And that man looking at you through your telephone is manipulating God's Word and manipulating you.
God has revealed to me.
And I'll come on two, three, four hours a day, and I'll do this until He reveals it to you.
Uh-uh.
That's not how it works, Mr. grace prophet.
You're in the wrong dispensation to come at me with that.
I know what you're doing.
I ran it through the sound doctrine processor, but it didn't come out on the other side.
The God revealed it to me but not you is unsound.
The Lord showed this to me, guys, and, and it's no accident that you're here tonight.
Stay with me to the end, and maybe he'll reveal it to you.
Stay with me to the end, and you'll never be the same.
Not a chance.
One of the oldest tricks there are.
For the Bible tells me so.
No, it did not.
Be careful.
Be careful who you're allowing to, to pour into your spirit, as they say.
They claim to come from a place of love, but are they?
If you're saved my friend, you have discernment.
You have it, so use it.
Some, their discernment may be sharper, may be heightened a bit more, running on a higher level, but all God's children have it.
You have it, so use it.
Break from the herd.
Escape the chaos.
Steal away and pray.
Steal away and study your word.
Turn off all the noise.
Remember how you used to do that?
Before all the modern technology?
Every now and then, it's good to unplug.
Unplug from YouTube.
Unplug from television, where they tell a vision.
Unplug from TikTok.
Unplug from us, Truth Time Radio.
And just steal away and go search the scriptures.
Just you and God's word.
Doesn't that sound good?
Saints, we're all children of light.
We're children of the day.
We are not of the night, nor of darkness.
1 Thessalonians chapter 5.
We don't have to settle for the crumbs.
We don't have to settle for the world's limited knowledge.
This darkened world has nothing for us.
For the Bible does tell us so.
And it's high time we decide to actually believe what our grace apostle says about us.
Wholeheartedly consider what Paul says.
2 Timothy 2:7, And the Lord will give thee understanding in all these things.
This divine wisdom is given to the in Christ Jesus, who God is made unto us wisdom and righteousness and sanctification and redemption.
1 Corinthians 1:30, To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God.
The in Christ, hey, we were predestined for this.
It was ordained before the world began.
This is God the Father's eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord who has given us this boldness and confidence.
But to access it, we must unplug from those who spiritualize, those who tell spiritual lies.
They can't see the truth because they don't have spiritual eyes.
We are children of the light, children of the light which is diametrically opposed to those who walk in darkness.
How do I know this?
For the Bible tells me so.
When you decide to stand on and for truth, don't be surprised when the enemy retaliates.
The apostle John recorded a timeless truth, one that surpasses all dispensations.
For everyone that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. John chapter 3 verses 20 and 21.
So in defense of the gospel, Paul tells us to stand, therefore having your loins girt about with truth and having on the breastplate of righteousness.
A reminder from WTTR Truth Time Radio.
Take the words precept upon precept from the book of Isaiah.
Now that's a good one.
A great example of how many haphazardly come to God's holy writ and make a mess of things.
Take his word and just misuse it.
Isaiah chapter 28:13, But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little and there a little, that they might go and fall backward and be broken and snared and taken.
Hey, if your ears aren't dull of hearing, you probably caught that.
You probably already know how this has been taught incorrectly.
For as long as I can remember, the verse has been taught as, it's been used as an example of a wonderful way to study the Bible.
Precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little, there a little, it's no such thing.
These having missed Paul's instructions to study to show thyself approved, a workman rightly dividing the word of truth, having missed that, yeah, they ran back to the book of Isaiah and decided to start parroting what they were spoon-fed.
And the result is, they're left to wallow in their error and they spread it to others.
The point of God's dear prophet here, the prophet Isaiah, the point of him using these words, precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little, there a little, was to rebuke them.
If you have your Bible, notice here, watch, notice how he starts.
The word of the Lord was unto them, that's important, was unto them, not me, not Isaiah the prophet here, but the word of the Lord was unto them, precept upon precept, line upon line.
So let's connect some dots.
Instead of cherry-picking verse 13, how about we back up for context's sake and start with, start with verse 9.
Whom shall he teach knowledge?
And whom shall he make understand doctrine?
Them that are weaned from the milk and drawn from the breast.
But, but listen, these Isaiah is speaking to here were not weaned from the milk, nor drawn from the breast.
That's why the word of the Lord was unto them, unto them, precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little, there a little.
Look at verse 11, For with stammering lips and another tongue, will he speak to this people.
Verse 12, To whom he said, This is the rest, wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest. And this is the refreshing, yet they would not hear. But the word of the Lord was unto them, precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, and there a little. That, now watch, that they might go, and, what? Fall backward.
Again, precept upon precept, line upon line, is not being spoken well of here.
Oh, we've all heard some fancy pants apologists say it is, but the scriptures does not bear this out.
That's from man's point of view.
Notice verse 12, When speaking of rest here, Isaiah says, Wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest. And this is the refreshing, yet, they would not hear.
See that?
The word of the Lord was unto them, precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little, there a little, that they might go and fall backward and be broken and snared and taken.
He was not speaking to full-grown, mature believers in these passages, but to those who had yet to be weaned from the milk and drawn from the breast.
Those who upon hearing God's word, nothing made sense or connected for them.
Nothing stuck.
It was going in one ear and out the other.
As our grace apostle warns us, there in Acts chapter 20, truth twisters are coming out of the woodwork.
Paul said, For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
If you remember over there, he said, They're coming from our own selves.
From our own selves shall these men arise.
Doing what, Paul?
Speaking perverse things.
Why, Paul?
To draw away disciples after them.
Oh!
He warns of wolves from without that will enter in, but he also warns of those of our own selves that will rise up speaking perverse things, staring at you in your phone with all their passion and pathos, sounding good, sounding like they know what they're talking about, but actually speaking perverse things to draw you away after them.
It's because of the wrong motive.
They're coming from not such a good place.
The premise is all off.
Scripture twisters are right here among us and they'll only wax worse.
Wax worse and increase to more ungodliness.
You know, people when they think of ungodliness, they get the idea that it only applies to things that go on in the bars, the clubs, and drinking, smoking, cussing, that sort of thing.
But unaware, they have fallen into the devil's trap by knee-jerking and automatically making it about the flesh.
Taste not, touch not, don't go here, don't go there, don't do this, don't do that.
Meanwhile, the real ungodliness, you better be keeping a close eye on, is coming out of the preacher's mouth.
Like we mentioned earlier, the one who's saying, God revealed it to me, but not you yet.
Keep listening, keep watching, just allow me to condition you until you finally receive this revelation that God gave to me.
Man, some of these guys might as well be Jim Jones.
With all sorts of crazy doctrines.
Many are quick to recite, study to show thyself approved unto God. A workman needeth not to be ashamed.
But miss the next verse.
Shun profane and vain babblings.
For they'll what?
What, Paul?
They'll increase unto more ungodliness.
There is your ungodliness.
It's not in the bars, it's not in the clubs, it's in your favorite preacher's mouth.
So you should test him.
Be like those of Berea, have your Bible open, and make sure that he's not manipulating that word and adding things in, trying to fill in the blanks, with his own philosophy.
There's your ungodliness.
What's doctrine made of?
Words.
So the focus of this ungodliness is profane and vain babblings.
These babblers who babble words and false doctrines.
That's what will increase unto more ungodliness.
A piece of advice for anyone able to digest this, never build your knowledge off assumptions.
Not wise.
If the verse doesn't clearly state it, don't allow someone to finagle and twist it until it does.
Don't go to the Garden of Eden and add an apple where it don't belong.
Don't make angels women.
Don't give them wings.
Don't make them babies.
Leave your imagination at the door.
Don't change Jesus the Son into Jesus the Father.
Proverbs chapter 30, verses 5 and 6, Every word of God is pure. He is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
Verse 6, Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
If you're uncertain of where you're going to spend eternity, know this.
Know that at the cross, God stopped imputing your sins.
Yes, sir.
Jesus died for them all.
He was buried, but he defeated death.
You want to be victorious over death?
Believe on him that arose to give you the free gift of justification of life.
Grace and peace.
