The Salvation Spinning Wheel: Where Do You Land?

A listener writes, I've sat in church now for more than 30 years, and have never understood 2 Timothy 2:15.
By listening to your station, I've since learned that to rightly divide the word of truth means to separate the books that were written to Israel, from the books that were written to the church, the body of Christ.
Now I realize that there are no contradictions in my Bible.
It's just God speaking different things to different people.
I could never thank you enough for the difference you've made in my Bible studying.
Signed, a faithful listener, Paradise Valley, Arizona.
It's letters like this that make it all worthwhile.
This is such exciting news.
Grace and peace to all.
And thank you for supporting WTTR, your home for mid-Acts Bible study, and songs of grace.
WTTR Truth Time Radio.
Hey, this is where you'll get a shot of truth with no chaser.
Today's brick and mortars, you can't miss them, they're on every corner, they'll eat you up, they've got law dogs everywhere, corner to corner go in and you'll find law dogs standing there, just trying to put a yoke of bondage around your neck for you to carry around during your lifetime.
It's nuts, is what it is.
And it's not so much of the law of Moses, but their own laws, they made them up, something to do to do to do to do.
Hey, if you had a salvation spinning wheel, and on it, there were two places on the wheel, two places to land, land on Jesus or land on man, you step up, you spin the wheel and land on Jesus.
Hey, you win, crowd goes nuts, spin it and land on man, you are a big loser.
Landing on man represents the law of performance, things you do in your flesh.
You lose, landing on Jesus represents grace, things he done for you, you win.
Under this current administration, anything other than faith alone in Christ alone is one for the L column, just put that right there in the losers column because you lose to put it in Olympic terms, you don't win silver, you lose gold.
When a man who's honestly mistaken here's the truth, he'll either quit being mistaken, or cease to be honest.
But in this dispensation, you've got no reason to even gamble, none at all.
No need to spin the wheel and take a chance, just trust the one whom died for all your sins, was buried, rose the third day to give you justification, justification of life.
That's news to rejoice in, rejoice in the Lord always and again, I say, rejoice.
We've armoured up, we're engaging in spiritual warfare, it's a battle ground.
2 Corinthians 10, For though we walk in the flesh, we don't war after the flesh.
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal.
Hey saints, they're mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.
We cast down imaginations in every high thing that, that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God.
That's where the power comes from, the knowledge of God.
And we bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.
We don't look on the outward appearance.
Don't fall into that trap, impressed by a man who, who can quote scriptures better than you.
That's vanity, get your eyes off man, off the flesh.
Not long ago I was preaching, and afterwards had a gentleman, he said, Man, your ability to recall and quote scripture is something else.
My wife, she tells me that sometimes, but you know, there's nothing impressive about that.
It doesn't matter, hey, you can stand up before a crowd and quote the Bible from cover to cover.
But unless you know what to do with it, unless you know how to rightly divide it, to teach it dispensationally, you're wasting your time and everyone that's impressed by your recallability.
Won't do you a bit of good.
Watched the video, watched the video a listener sent in to us earlier today, and it's a perfect example of this, the pastor of this brick and mortar standing there, quoting one scripture after another.
Yet, he teaches limited forgiveness, doesn't have a clue of what happened at the cross.
Oh, he's a workman, all right, an ashamed workman, that's what he is, quoting scriptures from memory, but what good is it?
What good is that doing?
No salvific gospel coming from the man's mouth.
Salvation is not getting your sins forgiven.
Salvation is not getting your sins forgiven, it's believing they already are.
Oh, that's victorious news, that's where the victory is, friends.
And if you don't know that, you should exit the pulpit and let somebody up there who does.
You can increase in knowledge all day every day and not do a bit of good for anybody, if you aren't preaching the undiluted, unperverted gospel of Christ.
If you don't have forgiveness right, stop wasting your time, and you do well to go turn your Bible in and find something that you are good at.
Because preaching ain't it.
Colossians 1:9, For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, we don't cease to pray for you.
And our desire is that you might be filled with knowledge, the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.
No limited forgiver has spiritual understanding.
That you might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing.
Being fruitful, Paul says, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.
So that man standing there that you're so impressed with, hey, he's increasing in knowledge all right, quoting scripture from memory, wowing his audience, but his message, it won't save a single soul.
Because he places a do in front of forgiveness.
You've proven yourself to be a shameful workman, getting pats on the back and a wheelbarrow full of at-a-boys.
Hey, all you're doing is making false converts, and you're not going to be at the judgment seat, neither will they.
Your audience is believing in vain because they're believing a lie.
You're religious and lost in teaching others how to be also.
Limited forgiveness is a joke started by a denominationalist, and even being parroted by those who claim that they have no ties to denominations.
They need to remove their Jim Carrey mask and reveal who they really are.
This is the dispensation of grace.
We're not under law.
Romans 6:14, sin doesn't have dominion over us.
We're not under the law, we're under grace.
Romans 2:12, For as many as have sinned without the law also perish without the law, and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law.
Think about that.
Think about what Paul is saying here.
For as many as have sinned without the law shall also perish without law.
This is current news.
We're not under the law.
But as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law.
That is time past.
Time past news for those who are under the law in another dispensation.
So, understand this, when, when we perish, we do so without the law.
And that's why no one from this dispensation will be judged for their sins.
We sinned without the law, and those who perish in this dispensation will be judged by Paul's gospel.
Being judged by Paul's gospel has no connection with the law, with the earthly kingdom, with the holy nation of priest.
If anyone in the world today was under the law, they'd be receiving God's punishment for breaking it.
It's as simple as that.
Contrary wise though, think about it, contrary wise, God is dispensing grace right now.
There is currently no enmity standing between God and man, making salvation available to everyone.
This gospel of peace, it's so amazing!
Are you here today searching for peace?
I invite you to believe on Christ, believe on Christ Jesus and receive the free gift of salvation, then you can rest in him.
You can then say that you're dead and your life is hid with Christ in God.
Colossians chapter 3.
Now that's peace.
When Christ who is our life shall appear, then shall we also appear with him in glory.
You want peace?
This is it.
Get in it.
Get in Christ while the gittin's good.
Believe the gospel.
Trust Christ.
Allow your life to be hid with him in God.
The wages of sin is death, and all have sinned against a holy God.
And we've all come short of his glory.
We all deserve a smoking hot place in hell.
As it is written, there is none righteous, no not one.
And on our best day, on your best day, think about it.
You can't measure up.
I can't measure up.
All we can do, all the work that we can do is equivalent to a filthy rag.
In Philippians chapter 3, Paul warned of many there who caused him to weep because they were enemies of the cross, which describes most of twistianity today.
The law first, grace later crowd.
You know them.
The law first, grace later, guys.
They frustrate the grace of God when they open their mouth and don't understand the truth of the cross.
Don't expect that to change anytime soon.
And listen, here's something you need not get twisted.
Don't be fooled.
Watch for those, these out here who say, Oh, we're not under the law, we're under grace.
But then they turn around and slide a do right in there, right under your nose.
If we're under grace, there's nothing to do because grace and do don't go together.
And they may not preach or teach the law of Moses.
That's not what we're talking about.
But if you listen closely, you'll catch them.
You'll catch them.
I promise you'll catch them replacing it with their own laws.
They've got them.
They've got a stack of them.
Their own do's, their own performance.
The church lexicon is often more important than their Bible.
But enough with the bad news, enough with that.
The good news is this, before you were born, Christ died for all your sins.
God the Father made Jesus to be sin for us.
He did so that we might be made the righteousness of God in him, in Christ.
God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing trespasses unto anyone.
This happened when, when did this happen?
When we were enemies, that's when it happened.
It didn't happen when we did something.
It didn't happen when we confessed our sins.
It didn't happen when we were water-baptized, turned from our sins, when we believed the gospel.
No, it happened when we were enemies.
He was buried but rose the third day to be the just and justifier of all who will believe on him, believe on him for eternal life.
Today is the day of salvation.
Grace and peace.
From morning.
Great to wake up to in the morning.
To evening.
Working late at the office.
Thanks for making us your number one.
This, is Truth Time Radio.
