How Many Gospels Are in a King James Bible?

Hi, Trey and Faith, this is Betty Henry from Strattonville, Pennsylvania.
I just wanted to give you guys an encouragement.
Carol Clinger and I were talking about how great your teaching is with you and Faith.
You really bring out the passion for the truth of the gospel, the grace of God.
And, it is so enjoyable.
I love you guys and keep standing for the truth.
Thanks.
Religion just wasn't going to cut it for me.
And I've been in it for so long and many of you here are like I was.
And we have acquaintances and family and people we love who are still caught up in religion, trying to drag us back, the bondage that we escaped and there they are, thinking they're doing it out of love wanting to pull us, to draw us back in to that web of deceit, of having you think you are Israel, thinking you can lose your salvation, not understanding that we're not under the tithing program, earthly minded instead of heavenly minded.
We're in the dispensation of the grace of God and we try to convey that to all those we love, it's hard sometimes, oh, yeah, it's, it's difficult.
Been doing this for a couple of decades, it's hard.
You think, Hey, I've discovered this, this great outstanding news that it's so liberating.
It'll set you free, and you go to people that you care about.
And they look at you like you're an alien from another planet with a couple of antennas growing out of your head.
1 Corinthians 9:17, For if I do this thing willingly, Paul says, I have a reward.
But if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.
Now, you and I, we look at that and see power.
Other people, other folks, they look at that and go, What's a dispensation?
But once you tap into this knowledge that we're under this dispensation of grace, a new administration, our apostle is the apostle Paul, things just, they become so clear and everything looks so relevant, the scriptures start looking practical to you.
You have greater understanding, greater knowledge.
You start to kind of vibrate on a different level, and that's hard for some to now deal with.
And so you're a little off putting when you come into the conversation when it has something to do with quote unquote, "religion," but it's still the truth nonetheless.
So that's 1 Corinthians 9:17.
What about Ephesians 1:10, That in the dispensation of the fullness of times, he might gather together in one all things, all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth, even in him.
Ephesians 3:2, If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God, which is given me to you-ward.
The me there is Paul, the you-ward is the Ephesians, and we might as well say we're the Ephesians, were the Floridians, were the Georgians, the Georgians, but we are the Gentiles that were aliens outside the promises.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Well, it's funny.
I saw someone make a comment earlier today, I think it was on Facebook, that said, Dispensation is not biblical.
And I immediately thought to myself, if it sounds like you're not biblical because we're (they're definitely not) dispensation is, and if you're saying it's not, then you must not be in your Bible, or you may be in a wrong Bible, but still, nonetheless, the word dispensation doesn't need to be there for you to know that there have been changes in administrations throughout the history of mankind.
For example, Hebrews 1:1, God who at sundry times and in divers manners, spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.
And it keeps going speaking about his Son.
The point is, is that in Hebrews right here in the very first verse of the very first chapter, we have the writer, speaking to sundry times, there's your time past, (but now) the word time past is even in this verse.
And so different times, various times in divers manners and different manners in different ways.
So, this is not just a concept that's only known.
Oh, come on.
This is something new you thought, you had a dream last night.
Well, it's, it's funny how people in time past knew how things would change.
I mean, obviously Abraham knew not to build an ark, Moses knew not to take his son and offer him up as a sacrifice.
That's right.
They knew these things (they didn't need the word, dispensation) they didn't need the word, dispensation.
You have an idea that there's some things different from that which is now, there's some things different that were in operation and functioning prior to me, right.
There were some things different then that are not happening today.
Exactly.
Exactly.
And the diet changed, the manner of giving changed, tithing changed, and it's, it continues to change.
So, you obviously anytime you have a change in an administration and instructions on what it is to, you must do to follow God and be pleasing to him, there is a change in gospels because the gospel is the good news.
It's how you will be saved.
And, anyone who denies that people in time past were saved in a different manner with different instructions, obviously, no, you're not reading the Bible, or you're not comprehending what you read.
And, and I think that it's been maybe been blended together for so many years for so many people, that they don't really just, they really just don't want to recognize the distinctions because everybody knows they don't get up every morning to go hunt for some gopher wood.
That's right.
You know, obviously you're not doing that.
Well, it is comprehension, because I will say that in the fact that I was in my Bible, I was in it.
But I wasn't in it to win it.
I was just in it and I was listening.
That's why I'm so hard today on others for parroting what others say.
I'm hard on people for looking at a man and lifting him up upon a pedestal.
I'm hard on people, not because I'm some amazing intellectual who has always known since my mother's womb that you're not to do that.
No, I discovered that because why?
Because I used to do that.
Right, right.
I used to look, matter of fact, and I've told you this story, but people like Joel Osteen?
Oh, man, I mean, look at the nice suit the guy wears, look at the parking lot.
They're full.
Look at the chairs.
There's no room.
That would have impressed the old man, Trey Searcy.
But once I discovered the truth, I realized, hey, you know who has the truth?
Remnants, all in your Bible from cover to cover.
It's never been about the most popular.
It's always been about a remnant of folks here and there scattered that understood the truth.
Always.
It has never been about a big, Hey, look at the crowd, they must be telling the truth.
No, look at the crowd, they're probably not.
Yeah.
Well, and sometimes we look at things in a more encapsulated, myopic manner when we look at numbers.
I mean, one man's remnant is another man's mass amount of people.
So, but if you look at it in the big picture of everything, and in all of what we will refer to as Christendom, mainstream Christianity, those who understand who their apostle is and who know and believe the gospel of their salvation for today, are most definitely a remnant.
That's right.
So, you know...
How many believed Noah's gospel?
Less than 10 out of all those people in all those years preaching that message, which is something else to, we hear a lot of, there's only one gospel in the Bible.
You hear that from all the denominations.
And let me go outside.
Let me step beyond that.
You hear from even dispensationalists, well, there's two gospels in the Bible.
And then of late, we've heard there's three gospels in the Bible.
Well, Truth Time Radio's here to tell you, all of the above are wrong.
There's several gospels in the Bible, and if you don't know, then maybe you have not comprehended what the word gospel means.
The word gospel means good news, Noah, back to Noah, Noah's good news was not the gospel of the kingdom.
Noah's good news was not the gospel of the grace of God.
No, it was not.
Noah's good news was not Adam and Eve's good news.
No, it wasn't.
Noah's gospel was not the same gospel of the everlasting gospel that the angel will be flying around and preaching.
No, it's not.
How many did I just name?
That's four or five already.
We could go on because gospel means good news, so no, there's not one, there's not two, and there's not even three.
So, if you're saying that, you need to check who you've been listening to, quit parroting what they say and get in this book.
Right, and there's so many different examples of different people throughout Old Testament scripture, what we consider to be Old Testament scripture, that have been instructed to do certain things.
And, in order to be saved, they first had to have faith, and then they had to be obedient to that faith.
And to be obedient to that faith, they had to follow the instructions that came along with faith.
Whatever they may be.
So whatever those instructions are.
So, when you have multiple different examples of people in scripture in time past, who have had different instructions from the next person even, (That's right), that's a different gospel.
That's a different way of their salvation.
Now, what remains the same, is that they had to have faith, and they had to be obedient to that faith.
And whatever the instructions are is what they are to obey.
That's right.
Now, when the instructions are different, then it's a different gospel.
Different dispensation.
Different dispensation (Different instructions) for different gospel.
If you were not obedient to the faith, then you were not considered to be righteous.
That's right.
And if you were not declared righteous, then you were not justified.
And without justification, you cannot be saved.
And although their salvation in time past and in ages to come is going to result in a different destination than ours, they still have the same principles.
Right.
This is why God does not change.
He's the same yesterday, today, and forever.
And the reason why he doesn't change is because his requirements are the same.
You need to have faith.
And it just so happens that our instructions for today to obey our faith that we have is to believe on Christ alone, and what he accomplished for us.
His death for sins on the cross, his burial, and his resurrection unto eternal life for us.
Because all of that, what you just mentioned, is physical.
Right.
People's problem with the word, obedient, is they think every time you say obedient, you're talking about a physical action.
Exactly.
Exactly.
Exactly.
And so, when you look at it this way and you understand that Jesus did everything and fulfilled everything that needed to be accomplished in order for anyone to be declared righteous, then, our instructions are to not try and do those things that he's already done to be righteous.
That's right.
So, our, our obedience is, don't obey the law.
Don't do the... don't work for righteousness.
Whatchu talking about?
I know James would never say that.
Peter would never say that.
But our apostle tells us, this is what you do.
That's right.
Jesus Christ himself and his earthly ministry would never say that.
He told the rich young ruler, when the rich young ruler said, Well, I've obeyed everything from my youth.
Now what must I do?
Now what do I do?
Sell everything you have and give it to the poor and come and follow me.
If you'll be perfect, this is what you have to do.
And he walked away sorrowful because he had a lot of stuff.
So, even he couldn't do that then, but that was the instruction.
That was his obedience.
That was the obedience of his faith.
If he had done that, then he would be preserved unto eternal life at the times of refreshing.
And how many sermons have you heard as a good old retired Baptist on Matthew chapter 19, which is what you're speaking of, and that rich young ruler?
So many, and they didn't touch on these points, they overlooked this, why, because they didn't understand the dispensation of the grace of God.
They did not adhere to the change that came through the apostle Paul, the fellowship of the mystery, this dispensation of grace, that's what it's all about.
What you need to do is hop on the grace train.
That's how you find out about this mystery.

Woke up this morning, Faith, and I had the book of Psalms in my spirit, man.
Psalms is an outstanding book of wisdom, outstanding guys, outstanding, Psalm 34:1, I will bless the Lord at all times.
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
Let's praise him, saints, let's praise him.
Psalm 34:8, Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good.
Blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
Where is your trust today?
In man, in tradition, philosophy, social media, what are you trusting in?
The Lord is good and blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
That's where we find our truth.
That's where we find grace, mercy, peace, love, joy, and abundance of good news is all found in trusting him and that, that doesn't matter what dispensation you're in.
Psalm 34:14, depart from evil and do what?
Do good.
Seek what?
Seek peace and pursue it.
Peace guys, peace, pursue it and watch everything just kind of like a puzzle fall in place.
Happy to be with you today here, looking ahead to the day when we will all, the entire body of Christ will be changed, flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God and neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
And it's mandatory, guys, mandatory, no exceptions for this corruptible to put on incorruption and this mortal to put on immortality.
It's at that glorious moment, Faith, that death is going to be swallowed up.
What?
Death is going to be swallowed up in what?
Victory!
Victory!
We have victory.
Where's our victory?
In Christ.
Yes.
In understanding the fellowship of the mystery, the gospel of the grace of God, the Romans 1:16 gospel of Christ, the Galatians chapter 2 gospel of the uncircumcision, the top priority of this ministry here at Truth Time is to see souls saved and saints edified.
We're so thankful today, thankful to the Almighty Father God for sacrificing his Son in order to settle the score.
We talked about that last time when we were on, Faith.
The score's settled, guys, the score is settled.
The blood, that did it, nothing, nothing can beat it.
The score is settled, and he did it so you and I wouldn't have to.
That's right.
That's the reason TTR's always making reference to the finished cross...
Hey, y'all talk about the cross work too much.
Well, just stay tuned.
That's all we're going to... nothing is going to change on that.
The cross work, the finished cross work, the burial and the resurrection.
We preach Christ and him crucified.
That's a joke to most today.
We're mocked.
I get it.
We're the laughing stock among the world, but we make no apology.
We stand firm like a tree planted by the water.
The cross is where God settled the score.
The moment we accept, by grace through faith, the free gift of salvation, we're transferred positionally by imputation, by the gospel of the grace of God into the last Adam, into Christ.
This transfer, you ever think about that, this great transfer.
This happens through faith in Christ Jesus and what he has done.
He did everything necessary to save your sorry no good soul.
