The Power of His Resurrection (Philippians 3:9)

Published on 21 February 2026 at 21:53

Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead (Romans 1:3‭-‬4)

Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. (Romans 4:25)

Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. (Romans 6:3‭-‬4)

Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. (Romans 6:8‭-‬9)

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. (Romans 8:11)

Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. (Romans 8:34)

For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. (Romans 14:9)

And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power. (1 Corinthians 6:14)

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: (1 Corinthians 15:3-‬4)

And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. (2 Corinthians 5:15)

And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,  Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, (Ephesians 1:19‭-‬20)

And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; (Philippians 3:9‭-‬10)

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
(1 Thessalonians 4:13‭-‬14)

Question: Are you certain about your salvation?

The apostle Paul heralded the good news of reconciliation, proclaiming Christ to be the worlds perfect-sinless-sacrifice. It was on the cross that a substitute was made. (The righteous for the UNrighteous) The way was made clear for you to be saved. Now rest your faith in that Christ died for your sins, was buried and has risen! The wages of sin is death, and He took your sins and died your death.

In Romans 5:10 we learn that when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved  by  his  life.
