Listener: I'm re-listening to your program on Angels. You said the two women mentioned in Zechariah 5:9 are referred to as "Wickedness" in verse 8. (I also noticed "Wickedness" is capitalized for some reason). But it appears only the woman in the basket is referred to as "Wickedness" in verse 8 because the verse says the angel, "...thrust her down into the basket, and threw the lead cover over its mouth." After that, in verse 9, it mentions the two women with wings lifting up the basket with the woman inside. Aren't these verses describing three different women? One in the basket and two lifting up the basket?
TTR: What Bible are you using? "wickedness" is not capitalized in mine. Your scripture references look totally foreign to what is written in my Bible.
7 And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah.
8 And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.
9 Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven
It could be three women as you said. Thanks for pointing that out. However, I do strongly recommend using a bible that is taken from the Majority text as opposed to the church of England's Wescott and Hort's Minority text.
The majority text is taken from 95% of all available manuscripts, while the minority text comes from only 5%. Seems bias and rather lopsided to me. And remember, ALL Bibles after 1881 (NIV, ESV, NKJ, etc...) come from Wescott and Hort's Minority (5%) text.
Something else you may find noteworthy is both Wescott and Hort were.....
1. Roman Catholic communist who prayed for the destruction of America.
2. Members of the occult, and believed in having conversations with the dead.
3. They supported Darwinism.
4. Were racist, who believed that blacks were barely human if human at all.
5. Denied the deity of Christ.
6. Believed they were the Israel of the Bible.
Thanks for your support over the years. I've attached an old program that I did on the perfect preservation of God's word as found in the King James Bible. Hope it helps!

Listener Response: Trey, I'm blown away by this. I've never heard anything about that in my whole life. I'd really like to learn more. I'm definitely going to listen to the audio you included. Thank you for that. The pastor of the church I used to attend uses the NKJV, so that's why I do. But it appears it's not a very good version to use. That's a good catch on your part, noticing "Wickedness" is capitalized in the NKJV, but not the KJV.
So, other than your audio, do you have other information on the 95% majority text vs. the 5% minority text? I'm sitting here shaking my head that this is all news to me. And I'm somewhat upset that no one I've encountered in my spiritual journey has ever pointed this out to me until just now.
Thank you so much and thank you for your unwavering stand on the truth, Trey.
